Forex Trading - Moving Average

0

Moving average is one of the most popular and easy to use tools available for doing technical analysis. It means the average price of a currency over a specified time period (the most common being 20, 30, 50, 100 and 200 days), used in order to spot pricing trends by flattening out large fluctuations. Moving average data is used to create charts that show whether a currency’s price is trending up or down. They can be used to track daily, weekly, or monthly patterns. Each new day's (or week's or month's) numbers are added to the average and the oldest numbers are dropped, thus, the average "moves" over time. In general, the shorter the time frame used, the more volatile the prices will appear, so, for example, 20 day moving average lines tend to move up and down more than 200 day moving average lines. There are four different types of moving averages: Simple (also referred to as Arithmetic), Exponential, Smoothed and Linear Weighted. Moving averages may be calculated for any sequential data set, including opening and closing prices, highest and lowest prices, trading volume or any other indicators. It is often the case when double moving averages are used.

The only thing where moving averages of different types diverge considerably from each other is when weight coefficients, which are assigned to the latest data, are different. In case we are talking of simple moving average, all prices of the time period in question are equal in value. Exponential and Linear Weighted Moving Averages attach more value to the latest prices. The most common way to interpreting the price moving average is to compare its dynamics to the price action. When the instrument price rises above its moving average, a buy signal appears, if the price falls below its moving average, what we have is a sell signal. This trading system, which is based on the moving average, is not designed to provide entrance into the market right in its lowest point, and its exit right on the peak. It allows acting according to the following trend: to buy soon after the prices reach the bottom, and to sell soon after the prices have reached their peak. Moving averages may also be applied to indicators. That is where the interpretation of indicator moving averages is similar to the interpretation of price moving averages: if the indicator rises above its moving average, that means that the ascending indicator movement is likely to continue: if the indicator falls below its moving average, this means that it is likely to continue going downward.

TRADING THE DAILY CHARTS

0

Due to restricted time and Internet connection that I have now, I have opted to trading using the daily charts. Its not as aggressive and thrilling as trading on the shorter time frame but the result is about the same minus the headache. I'm beginning to like daily trading. I need to make decision once in a while and the rest of the time I just hold my position. On a daily chart, the candlestick is much easier to read and pattern is much clearer. On 13th August I opened 3 position. 2 of which is still holding while 1 has been closed. At the moment all position are in profit.Daily trading is not for everyone. It took me sometime to adjust on the requirements of daily trading, but once you are there you never look back.Till next time, good luck everyone

THE WORKING OF FOREX

0

FOREX is not centered at one place like the NYSE. The specific hours for FOREX trade are 24 hours a day from Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon. FOREX transactions can take place at almost any time, anywhere, all over the world. There are FOREX dealers in almost all of the time zones, and it is simple to find them. Many dealers can be found online. All an investor does is decide what currency he or she wants to purchase, contact the dealer, and then makes the purchase. Many investors purchase using a credit line (money they do not have). This is called marginal trading. What is Marginal Trading?Marginal trading is a term used for trading with borrowed capital. FOREX investments can be made without actually having the money. All an investor needs to do is borrow the money for a certain currency. The investor wants to choose a currency that will increase in value quite rapidly. Once the currency increases, the investor pays back the money he or she borrowed and makes sheer profit. This is a high-risk investment, but the rewards are great (as with most high risk investments). Two Types of FOREX AnalyticsFOREX traders often have to analyze the market. Like all investments, FOREX involves a certain amount of calculated risk. Two ways to calculate these risks are though Technical Analysis and Fundamental Analysis.Technical Analysis is based on the idea that trends through history will continue. A FOREX investor will notice that a certain currency is very strong and seems to be rising at a normal rate. The same investor will also suppose that the currency will not decline in value, and will continue to rise, as it has done in the past. The investor then purchases a large amount of that currency and expects to make a profit. This investment entails a large assumption but is relatively safe.Fundamental Analysis is an analysis of an entire countries situation. Investors utilizing this technique look at the situation of the country in which the currency finds its base. Factors such as the countries economic status, political status, and global status are taken into account. For example, a Fundamental Analysis investor would not invest in currency from a country that just overthrew its leader and is in political shambles. Although this investment seems logical, it does not take into account one of the fundamental elements of FOREX trading. FOREX currency values are largely determined by the investors. That being said, Fundamental Analysis assumes that other FOREX traders will view a countries situation in the same way and respond accordingly.

People in Europe bake valentine buns with caraway seeds, plums, or raisins. People in Italy hold a Valentine's Day feast.

In Britain and Italy, some unmarried women get up before sunrise on Valentine's Day. They stand by the window watching for a man to pass. They believe that the first man they see will be the person they marry!

In Denmark, people send pressed white flowers called “Snowdrops” to their
friends. Danish men also send a type of valentine called a “gaekkebrev”. This is a letter where the sender writes a rhyme but does not sign his name. Instead, he signs the valentine with dots, one dot for each letter of his name. The woman has to guess who the sender was!

When you are searching for a printing company, there are three major types out there to choose from. There are those big ones with many branches across states. Then there are those small ones, the kind of mom and pop stores that service the neighborhood. Lastly there are those emerging online printing services that have no store per se, except their website. Each have their own unique advantages and disadvantages that you can exploit when doing your printing tasks. For example, that mom and pop store across town may not be big enough for orders that you can bring to an online printing company, but they can offer you a loyalty discount if you print with them all the time. To know more about these little details we have listed below the advantages and disadvantages of each type of printer.

You might have purchased a car but after using it for a few years you may think of selling it but the most crucial problem would be you are not getting real worth of it since the market value is depreciating. Think of a bigger picture you are planning to buy a new house so you decided to sell this house in the open market but face another loss. You may be in real trouble now. One of the best ways to get out of this solution is sell your house to a specialist company so that you can get cash quickly and stay in the same house as a tenant. You can stay in the same house for a short term or long term; it depends on your requirements.

Audi A5

Audi A5 The Geneva 2003 Nuvolari show car hinted at this sporty new coupe, the first on Audi's new A4 platform, which pulls the transmission partially alongside the engine, with a separately mounted front differential. The production model makes its debut this year at Geneva. It's on sale late this year, before the next-generation A4. Later, we'll see an A5 convertible, which essentially replaces the A4 cabrio. The A5 Spaceback, based on last year's Roadjet concept, hasn't been approved for the U.S. yet.

Lamborghini

0

Lamborghini has created a dazzling, new-aged Miura concept in the mold of the original, which celebrates its 40th birthday this year. The notion is similar to that of the Ford GT: maintain the classic's design ethos while modernizing the details and increasing the overall package size. The first Miura was bodied by Bertone, but this one is the work of the Lamborghini's Centro Stile studio's Walter de' Silva, newly appointed design director (who also retains design responsibility for Audi).
Billed as "strictly a concept" by President and CEO Stephan Winkleman, the Miura could be put into limited production if there's enough demand, say insiders. If built, the Miura would use elements of the Gallardo's space frame and the 512-horse, 5.0-liter V-10, mounted longitudinally, cutting both cost and development time. Emulating the original Miura's transverse engine layout would require a prohibitively expensive new transmission, says Audi concept development chief, Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg.
Hackenberg hints there may be less technology aboard, positioning the Miura as a more focused, raw-edged sports car. It's likely the car wouldn't get the Gallardo's all-wheel drive-system, with the additional benefits of saving weight and cost. Lamborghini will likely shop the car around potential customers, as Porsche did with the Carrera GT. If it can garner enough commitments--around 1000--then this nouveau Miura could get the green light.
